Puneet Anand was born and bought up in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. While in college, Puneet completed short stints with Usha Phone, Escotel, Coca Cola and Cipla. Puneet He did his MBA in Marketing from the National Institute of Sales and Marketing, Muzaffarnagar. After salvaging a loss-making outfit of AOA in Georgia, Russia Puneet was recently promoted to Chief Operations Officer and given the command of another AOA outfit called Global Info Systems.

Puneet’s idea is to recycle plastic PET bottles to make PET bottles and make textile fibers, sleeping bags, technical insulating material etc.

Q: Describe yourself in a few words.
A: I’m positive, enthusiastic and skillful person with a never-say-die attitude! I’m hardworking, dedicated, naughty, and flirtatious!

Q: How do you define success?
A: Success is the attainment of one’s ultimate objective. It means excelling in whatever I’m entering into. Success for me is to be able to provide every possible thing to ensure happiness on my parents and family’s face. Success for me means a balanced personal and professional life, with more focus, alignment and responsibility.

Q: Why do you think you can become the Business Baazigar?
A: I’m a very good performer. I’ve made teams win and been a part of winning teams all my life. I’m a team-player. I always contribute my best to the team and received Best Performance Awards. As far as my idea is concerned, I‘ve got a good grip on it. I think I’ll certainly make it to the last 4 and after that it’s a matter of mental toughness, your skills and grip over your project. I’m going to give a tough competition to everyone! I am sure I will be able to make it to the top!

Q: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
A: Five years would be a fair amount of time for me to nurture myself in an organization's culture. Being an active team member for this period, I believe I would be enriched with the leadership qualities needed to supervise a team of executives. Furthermore, I perceive myself as an effective decision maker, contributing optimally to my organization's ultimate goal. A continuous growth is what I aspire for. I will try to surpass the standards I’ve set for myself!
