Mahesh Murthy was born in Bangalore but lived most of his life in Orissa where his father worked with Hindustan Aeronautics. As a kid, Mahesh wanted to be a cardiac surgeon, but was soon smitten by a passion for computers! Mahesh loves to learn new computer languages and prides himself on knowing 16 of them!

Mahesh’s idea is to start a chain of service apartments all over India.

Q: Describe yourself in a few words.
A: I’m a bundle of energy and enthusiasm! I’m a go-getter. I set my goals and I work hard to achieve them! I’m a team player. I can cope with any situation in which I find myself. I can survive and win hearts and live forever in people’s hearts!

Q: How do you define success?
A: Success is the definition of achievement. It is a measure of one’s deeds and tasks that have been predetermined and accomplished with positive results!

Q: Why do you think you can become the Business Baazigar?
A: I have always believed that the right idea comes to the right person at the right time. However, what is more important is the ability to cash-in on the idea and be a successful entrepreneur. I believe that my experience, education and my zeal to excel would help me succeed in all my endeavors!

Q: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
A: I want to do what I want to do! I’m a nature lover. I want to explore the Himalayas. I want to go on jeep safaris. I know that I don’t have it in me to climb the Everest, but I’d like to traverse the Himalayas. I want to retire when I’m 35. So my focus right now is to earn enough money to be able to retire by then!
