Ali finished his schooling from St. Mary`s, Kolkata and then his graduation from K P College with a degree in Commerce. Ali completed an E-Business Application Developer program from IBM while simultaneously also doing various jobs to earn money. When Ali first came to Mumbai, he had only a Rs-500 note in his pocket. He now dreams of making it big and making crores with his big idea.

Ali’s idea is to set up a company exclusively for optic fiber splicing.

Q: Describe yourself in a few words.
A: I think I’m one of a kind. I’ve a very sacrificing nature. I feel very good when I give something to people. The happiest moments of my life are when I do something for others. I’m happy who I am but I think I need to think for myself now. I’ve always sacrificed for others and never cribbed about whatever happened in my life.

Q: How do you define success?
A: Success is an unending journey. Once you achieve one goal, you have another goal to achieve. Success is not just earning enough money. With success comes responsibility. If I become rich, I may want to donate that money to charity and to the right people and that may become my next goal. I would like to achieve success at every interval in my life.

Q: Why do you think you can become the Business Baazigar?
A: I stand a good chance because I see things realistically. I think some of my co-competitors are over confident. I think I have the capability to do it. I have started from 500 Rupees and launched a company with 5-10 lakhs. So I think I have done something in life that few people do or even think of doing! I think I’m surely going to be the Business Baazigar!

Q: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
A: Five years from now I’d be a millionaire! In fact I’d be a happy millionaire with sound sleep; with happy parents, relatives and friends; thousands of people caring and praying for me and India proud to have me as a citizen!
